Do fundraising certifications (CFRE and similar) actually get you hired in India, or is it a Western thing?
I have hired for three fundraising roles in the last two years and I have never once filtered on CFRE. What I look for is whether you can show me a proposal you wrote and tell me honestly why it failed. I would spend the certification money on that instead.
